National AMBUCS, Inc. awards scholarships to students (U.S. citizens) pursuing degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology and hearing audiology.

Association of American Indian Affairs Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students who are connected to their Tribal Nations and Indian Countries and wish to utilize their degrees to serve their Nations.

Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago

Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago administers educational scholarship funds to help Jewish students offset some of their financial burden. Assistance is available for those with financial need who are pursuing careers in the helping professions.

Korean American Scholarship Foundation

KASF scholarships are offered to the qualified Korean American students (including foreign students from Korea). All applicants must be enrolled in a full time program in the U.S during the scholarship application year.

Med Travelers Scholarship (PT, OT, SLP)

Med Travlers offers a $5,000 scholarship twice a year to current Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and School Psychology graduate students.

Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship

A college scholarship of $1,500 awarded to an upcoming or current graduate student with interest in pursuing a career in the health and fitness related fields.

Next Generation Healers Scholarships

The Banyan Treatment Centers’ “Next Generation Healers Scholarship” awards $1,000 to students pursuing careers in healthcare, mental health, or related fields who are balancing school and work. Applicants are selected based on their commitment to making a positive impact in their communities and on their demonstrated compassion and leadership in the field.

Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans

This scholarship supports students who have newly immigrated and students who are the children of new immigrants into the United States.

Roothbert Fund Scholarship

Need and merit-based scholarship open to all U.S. students whose education is motivated by “spiritual values.”

Rowe Fund of the Organization of American States

The Rowe Fund program of the Organization of American States (OAS) aims to support Latin American and Caribbean students pursuing higher education in the United States by providing interest-free loans and supplementary scholarships.

Healey-Driscoll Administration Scholarship

This scholarship program is intended for graduate students completing degrees or certificates that relate to the behavioral health fields.

Physical Therapy Scholarships

The Access and Opportunity Scholarship Fund

The Access and Opportunity Scholarship Fund recognizes physical therapy students currently in their final year of an accredited program, and faculty members who are pursuing post-professional doctoral degrees, for their professional character and academic excellence.

Rizing Tide Scholarships

Rizing Tide Scholarships support students from underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds pursuing careers in physical therapy by providing both financial assistance and professional development opportunities. The Crest Scholarship offers renewable awards of up to $14,000 for DPT students, while the Surge Scholarship provides up to $10,000 for graduates or licensed physical therapists entering residency programs.

Frances J. Laven Scholarship

This award is intended for graduate students in a professional program (Master’s SLP, Master’s AuD, or SLPD) who have shown exemplary service. Examples of service may include, but are not limited to, community service, service to the department or university, or service to the greater discipline.
