Introducing the Internal NIH RPPR Summary Form (RSF)
In our continued efforts to establish consistent policies and procedures across both the Medical and Charles River Campuses, Sponsored Programs is introducing the NIH RPPR Summary Form (RSF). This form will be required for all Annual NIH Research Performance Progress Reports (RPPR) effective July 1, 2019. We ask that schools start using the form now and reach out with any questions, concerns, edits, so we can amend and clarify the form as needed.
For the Medical Campus, the RSF will replace the previously used transmittal form. The transmittal form will be retired and removed from the website on June 30, 2019.
For the Charles River Campus, the RSF will be a new internal form that will be required for the Annual NIH RPPR.
Similar in use to the Proposal Summary Form (PSF), the RSF is an internal form to be completed and submitted to your BU SP Research Administrator when the Annual NIH RPPR has been finalized and routed to SP for final review and submission. The RSF will NOT be required for Final NIH Performance Progress Reports or progress reports to other sponsors.
As a reminder, all progress reports follow BU’s standard proposal submission policy. Plan accordingly to meet sponsor deadlines.
If you have any questions regarding the use of the new RSF, please reach out to Renna Lilly at rolilly@bu.edu
