The University monitors national security concerns surrounding research, including those involving intellectual property, sensitive data, export-controlled information, and other risks. We strongly encourage our research community to educate themselves on their responsibilities and to take steps to safeguard the integrity of their research using the guidance provided below.
All “Covered Individuals” who engage in sponsored research, including non-federal and industry-sponsored research, are required to complete CITI Research Security Training (Combined) annually. Those who do not complete the training will not be allowed to submit new proposals.
