Communications Coordinator, part-time, 20 hours per week
As part of the communications team and reporting to the Director of Communications, University Research, the Communications Coordinator will develop and execute a variety of collateral across channels by leveraging an existing visual identity, templates, and content strategy. This person is primarily responsible for production of email communications including newsletters and announcements including minor content development, editing, headline writing, and layout; ongoing content review and updates for designated portions of the research websites according to existing content strategy, including moderating the events calendars on both sites; serving as proofreader for majority of communications coming from the office; and managing the general email inbox and appropriately responding to or directing inquiries. In addition, this person is responsible for updating all research-related WordPress gravity forms and Adobe InDesign interactive PDF forms and transforming text into clear, well-formatted web content. Other duties may include occasional print design and other communications-related activities as assigned.

Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience required.
Excellent proofreading, editing, and organizational skills are essential.
