BU Letter of Intent Template Update

BU’s Letter of Intent (LOI) Template has been updated to include the new UEI numbers for both the Medical and Charles River campuses and can be found here.

As we have previously shared, the federal government will stop using the DUN and Bradstreet (D&B) Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number to uniquely identify entities.  The transition from DUNS to the new Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) is ongoing by federal agencies up through April 2022. The UEI is required for applicants and subrecipients on federal awards.

For proposals where BU is the subrecipient, please use the updated LOI template going forward.
