Award Nomination Opportunity: Raymond & Beverly Sackler International Prize in Biophysics

OBJECTIVES:

The Raymond and Beverly Sackler International Prize in Biophysics is a prize that has been established through the generosity of Dr. Raymond and Mrs. Beverly Sackler. The prize is given in the field of Physical Principles of Biological Systems. This year an amount of $100,000 will be presented, with no age limit applied for the prize candidates. The prize will be awarded to the recipient(s), in person, at Tel Aviv University in May/June 2022.

Tel Aviv University administers the Sackler Prize through an advisory committee comprised of the President and Rector of TAU as ex-officio members and others who have been selected by the President and the Rector.

FUNDING INFORMATION: $100,000

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

Self-nominations cannot be accepted. There is no age restriction for the candidate

INTERNAL SELECTION PROCESS:

Interested investigators should submit the following materials via InfoReady Review by DATE: 12/17/2021

  • Questions outlined in InfoReady Review application;
  • A brief statement (up to two pages) by the candidate describing their scientific achievements and work related to the prize category;
  • Up-to-date CV or biosketch.

A faculty committee drawn from both campuses will review internal proposals and select nominees. Foundation Relations will work with the nominees to develop and submit the institutional nomination letter and applicant materials by 1/20/2021
