Research Areas

The Brown group studies polymers and smart fluids to determine how useful properties emerge from hierarchical structure. A considerable focus is developing approaches that increase the throughput of materials research using scanning probe lithography, autonomous experimentation, additive manufacturing, and combinatorial chemistry.
