Research Areas The Pratt Laboratory employs a multi-pronged approach combining engineering with multiple “omics” strategies to design blood-based assays for cancer diagnosis and monitoring. We combine molecular diagnostics, peptide engineering, and microfluidics to better understand the significance and role of circulating biomarkers in tumorigenesis. These complementary modalities will enable noninvasive profiling of molecular and functional biomarkers. Our mission is to develop a toolset of multi-analyte assays with the ultimate goal of supporting personalized medicine and improving patient care.
