COM students win top awards at Student Production Awards

Video work produced by COM students won top honors in three categories this week at the annual Student Production Awards sponsored by the Boston/New England chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, best known for the Emmy Awards for professional work.

COM students also were recognized with six honorable mention awards across four categories.

“I’m really happy for our BUTV students, particularly those who are graduating,” said Adam Boyajy, BUTV Station Manager. “This is a great way for them to go out.”

Recipients will celebrate their awards at the 48th Boston/New England Emmy Awards Gala on June 7.
