Administrative Assistant, Office of the Dean
Ever since I was a freshman in college, I’ve been inspired to be involved in the support systems that are offered for students in college. My inspiration for supporting students comes from my own experiences as a student, often searching for help when acclimating to different college environments. I became enamored with the functions of these support systems, leading me to discover opportunities that fueled my passion for a professional career in higher education.
It brings me joy to be a part of the College of General Studies (CGS) staff in a role that furthers my passion for higher education. Although I am new to Boston University and CGS, I already feel at home thanks to the amazing staff and faculty members. As I reflect on my passions for supporting students and staff/faculty, I cannot think of a better place to be other than here at CGS.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy reading various genres of fiction novels that I’ll find in hidden libraries around Boston. If there’s motivation, I’ll work on writing my own fiction stories that I hope to publish someday. Outside of the creative word, I enjoy exercising, sports, and binge-watching tv shows.
