Assistant Director of Student Services
Every student has unique strengths and an ability to succeed, and I want to be a cheerleader of my students! This is why I do what I do – helping students to grow and evolve and be the most authentic themselves in this world! I have worked in education field more than 10 years through K-12 to postsecondary, and it always brings me great joy when I see my students thriving in their academic journey and finding their own definition of success! Before I joined the CGS, I was a professional academic coach and an international Student/Scholar Advisor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where I supported college students to maximize their strengths to succeed in their academic career.
I am passionate about advising and coaching college students because it gives me an opportunity to build a strong relationship with every student I meet and to provide an individualized support to their unique situations/challenges. Besides, my students always teach me something that I don’t know about before!! What a great way to support each other to grow! Never a dull moment with my students and I want my students to feel comfortable and safe to share their stories so I can be a better supporter!
When I am not at work, I love going to the gym (you can only see my serious face at the gym), traveling, reading books and watching scary/horror movies!
