Boston University College of Fine has two primary location venues including Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre at 820 Commonwealth Avenue and the College of Fine Arts building at 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Get to know these facilities.

End of Day Checklist
Please assist us in checking the following items in the theatre before the end of the day. If there are any issues, please contact the SOT Production Manager.
LOCKING UP
All doors of the theatre should be closed, including the large sliding doors on the North and South walls.
Please ensure the following doors are closed and locked:
1st Floor
- 2 Hallway swipe access doors on either side of the theatre
- Show Staff Office
- Green Room
- 2 Dressing Rooms
- 2 Light and Sound Lock doors between the lobby and the theatre
- 2 Doors from the hallways on either sideof the theatre into the theatre

2nd Floor
- Light and Sound Lock doors between the lobby and the mezzanine.
- The doors from the hallway on either side of the theatre into the mezzanine (AKA Hobbit Doors).
- 2 Dressing rooms
- 2 Hallway swipe access doors (the door on stage right does not lock, but please make sure it’s closed)

LIGHTS
In general, turn off lights in rooms as you lock them, taking special note for the rooms below:
- Theatre – In the 1st floor of the theatre, press the “Night” setting on the control panel up-stage right as you leave the theatre.
- Dressing Rooms – Both over head lights and make-up mirror lights should be switched off.
- The lighting board should be shut down per the Lighting Departments procedure.
- Any additional clip / run lights should be switched off.
SOUND
- After each tech session or performance, confirm that all digital work is saved and backed up to an external device.
- All sound system components used for production at the control position should be powered down.
- Cover the mixer.
- All intercom components should be stowed, and all audio cables (for Comm, mics, network, etc.) should be neatly coiled and dressed out of harm’s way.
- All small audio items (mics, RF transmitters/transceivers, direct-input boxes, etc) should be secured in the control room.
SCENIC
- The Raynok needs to be shutdown
- All grids and flying pieces need to be returned to a minimum of 120″
- All holes and railing breaks need a safety gate installed by it
