Graduation Application

This form is required for all CFA students who plan to graduate in May 2024, August 2024 (formerly September) and January 2025.

It is the student’s responsibility to connect with their Academic Advisor or the CFA Registrar in the Dean’s Office to ensure all degree requirements have been met. This form alone does not guarantee graduation.

Graduation Standards:

Bachelor’s students must earn a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 in the set of courses used to satisfy the program requirements for the degree.

Graduate students must complete all degree program requirements and earn a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 in the set of courses used to satisfy the program requirements for the degree.

The cumulative grade point average includes all coursework taken after matriculation and all courses completed prior to matriculation submitted in fulfillment of degree requirements.

CFA Doctoral students: doctoral candidates may only participate in the Convocation exercises if the following have been completed:

  • DMA Dissertation Track: a library receipt must be received prior to graduation, documenting submission for the dissertation to the library.
  • DMA Recital Track: all recital paperwork must be completed and submitted to the CFA Registrar prior to graduation.

All students should update their personal information on the Student Link that pertains to their graduation and diploma, including the correct spelling of their names, and the address to which they would like their diploma mailed if not attending the CFA Convocation or if they are graduating in August or January.

Note: Latin Honors are awarded for Bachelor’s degrees only.
