Tuition & Fees

BU MET Programs offer the flexibility of part-time or full-time study. Tuition, fees, and total program cost are determined by enrollment status.

Tuition at Metropolitan College varies depending on whether a student is enrolled on a full- or part-time basis, and on the number of credits being taken, plus any additional fees or course costs.

Students enrolled in 1-2 courses (4-8 credits) in a semester are charged the part time per-credit rate, whereas students enrolled in 3-4 courses (12-16 credits) in a semester, are charged the full-time semester rate. Additional charges apply to all students enrolled in more than 18 credits.

International students seeking an F-1 visa for on-campus study must enroll full time and demonstrate availability of funds to cover the Estimated Cost of Graduate Study. During the Summer Term, and in their final semester before graduation, international students pay tuition at the part-time rate.

Online students do not need to maintain full-time status.

There are several ways in which tuition costs can be offset, including graduate assistantships, described below.

Financial Assistance

Metropolitan College’s Graduate Financial Aid office offers comprehensive financial assistance for graduate students. For many, financial assistance is essential in funding an education. Our goal is to ensure that all students with the drive and determination to complete one of our programs have the opportunity to do so.

Graduate Assistantships

The Arts Administration program provides a small number of Graduate Assistantships to matriculating students. These offer up to $5,600 in tuition remission in exchange for research and administrative work (10–20 hours per week). There is also, at times, a very limited amount of scholarship supports available to outstanding students. Information about both of these opportunities is made available to students when they are admitted to the degree program. Please note that Certificate students are not eligible to apply for the Graduate Assistantships or scholarships.
