The Chester Theatre Company is seeking applicants experienced in arts administration for the position of Managing Director.

Chester Theatre Company is an Equity theatre located in the foothills of the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. CTC produces a summer season of four full productions, staged and performed by professional actors, directors and designers. Now in its 36th season, CTC has earned a reputation for excellence in contemporary theatre, consistently winning top honors with area critics. CTC productions have gone on to Off Broadway engagements and regional, national, and international tours. CTC has a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in its artistic and educational programming.
DESCRPITIONÂ
The CTC is looking for a 501(c)3 non-profit, equal-opportunity employer located in Western Massachusetts, CTC typically produces four contemporary plays each summer and leads two theatre trips during the off season. The Managing Director reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the overall business, administrative, and operational management of the organization, including leadership of finance management, marketing, fundraising, HR, technology management, contract management, and the intern program. The Managing Director attends bimonthly meetings of the Board and collaborates with the Artistic Director(s) to ensure the organization’s sustainability.
LOCATION
Hybrid possible; onsite during the theatre season.

COMPENSATION
