Won Mo Park (Questrom’10)

Won Mo Park is the vice president of Jeongil Corporation, a long-distance fishing company based in Korea. 

Won Mo joined the family business in 2011 and has taken on various responsibilities within the company, including global stakeholder management, distribution, and now diversification into the B2C market. During his tenure, he successfully navigated challenges from the Regional Fisheries Management Organization (RFMO), which led to the establishment of new industry-wide standards in South Korea. 

In addition, he undertook a yearlong business development initiative in Africa to establish and operate a global fishery joint venture, where he brought his expertise in negotiation and operating fishing vessels. From this experience, Won Mo gained insights into the importance of understanding the counterparty’s culture and local practices. 

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business with a minor in Economics. Won Mo is based in Seoul with his wife and their son.
