Utsav Seth (Parent CAS’23, CAS’26, Pardee’26)

Utsav Seth has over 24 years of experience in Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Retail & General Management in India, China, UK, UAE & in Global roles of which 10 years have been with Mauritius based Foresight Group International a US $1.85 billion global conglomerate.

He is currently based in Dubai U.A.E as the Group Director of Foresight Group International responsible for strategic development & governance and is attached to the office of the Executive Chairman Dr. Ravi K Mehrotra CBE and plays an active role on the board for Strategic direction of the businesses and Governance across the Group businesses and he serves on the boards of all major subsidiaries of the group around the world.

Utsav is directly responsible for exploring new opportunities for the Group’s next phase of long-term growth and is also the Managing Director of the Group’s global operations head office- Foresight Group Services Limited FZCO, Dubai United Arab Emirates.

In addition, Utsav is the CEO of Pavers Foresight Smart Ventures Ltd the Group’s joint venture with UK’s leading footwear retailers Pavers Limited and is leading a multinational operation focused on developing a premium branded footwear & lifestyle retail business across India & Sri Lanka.

Utsav has been responsible for the group’s joint venture with Pavers to win “UK Trade & Investments” India Business Award 2008 and has to his credit the #1 FDI approval-Retail for Pavers England in India. In 2013, Utsav was rewarded ET Retail Leadership award and in 2014 the brand has been voted as “India’s Most Admired Single Brand Footwear Retailer”. In 2016, Utsav has been awarded among 100 Most Influential Retail Leaders in South Asia. In 2018 Pavers England was awarded as Retailer of the Year by ET in India and Foresight Group Services Ltd FZCO Dubai received the largest Head Office setup & Investment award by Government of Dubai.

Prior to joining Foresight Group International Utsav has been an entrepreneur and has established a joint venture in manufacturing & distribution of footwear materials with Rhenoflex-Germany GTFC Limited India in 1997. These businesses are successfully operating with highly professional and motivated multinational teams in India, UK & China and are now part of Foresight Group International.

Utsav has also been an active independent board member at Sudhir Power Limited, India and Sudhir Power Rental FZE in UAE and KSA for the last five years. Sudhir has revenue exceeding US$ 250 million and are lead partners of Cummins Inc. USA (Fortune 500 Corporation).

He is an Alumnus of Harvard Business School, USA, and IMD Switzerland; Diploma holder in Organizational Behavior from INSEAD Fontainebleau. Founding Member of YPO Mumbai Connect, Member at YPO Downtown Dubai, YPO Greater London, Fellow at the Institute of Directors in London, Harvard Club of New York and Boston, member at The Hurlingham Club & The Royal Automobile Club in London. As of September 2022, Utsav joined Boston University’s International Advisory Board.
