Tory Sampson (CAS’15)

Tory hails from San Diego and graduated with honors with degrees in Archaeology and Anthropology. During her years at BU, she was a co-president of the Deaf Studies Club which held annual American Sign Language (ASL) balls and hosted events connecting BU ASL students to the Boston area deaf and signing communities. Afterward, she received her doctorate degree in Linguistics and Cognitive Science from the University of California San Diego and is back at BU as a postdoctoral scholar in the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences department at Sargent. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, going to museums, and reading all types of books.
