What is the coolest thing you’ve learned since you arrived?

The coolest thing I’ve learned at BU is how much I can grow by stepping outside of my comfort zone. During my junior year, I participated in BU’s London study abroad program—an experience that became a defining moment in my college journey. Living in a new country taught me how independent and adaptable I could be. I formed lasting friendships, experienced new cultures and traditions, and gained a deeper understanding of myself and my place in the world. Every person I met and every challenge I faced helped me see life from a broader perspective.

What BU traditions do you enjoy?

One tradition I really enjoy at BU is Lobster Night. It’s always exciting to see the dining hall come alive, with students lining up and buzzing with anticipation to claim their lobsters. The energy is fun and contagious. What makes it truly memorable, though, is sharing the experience with friends—enjoying good food, laughing together, and creating moments that feel uniquely BU.

Why did you choose to be involved in SAA?

I chose to get involved in SAA because I want to support students who, like me, need help navigating the transitions that come with college and life. I hope to serve as a bridge that connects people not only to resources and opportunities, but also to a stronger sense of belonging. Based on my own experiences, I aspire to help others recognize the potential within themselves that they may not have discovered yet.

Helping others brings me a deep sense of fulfillment, and I believe SAA offers the perfect platform to build meaningful connections. It’s also a valuable opportunity to experience the power of teamwork while working toward a shared, meaningful goal.
