Cong Wei (ENG’11)

Cong Wei is the director of product strategy at KargoBot, an L4 autonomous truck company incubated by DiDi. He transitioned from a career in machine learning engineering to product management and has over eight years of experience in Chinese unicorn startups and extensive expertise in AI productization, commercialization, and industrialization. He combines his technical background with strategic product vision to drive innovations. Cong Wei’s unique blend of skills enables him to effectively transform AI technologies into viable commercial products, particularly in the field of autonomous vehicles and AI agents. Cong Wei graduated with a bachelor’s degree in automation from Tsinghua University and later a master’s degree in systems engineering from Boston University. Born in Shanghai, he has worked in four different countries, gaining years of experience in collaborating with multilingual teams and excelling in cross-cultural communication. Additionally, he has a deep understanding of and extensive connections within the venture capital ecosystem both domestically and internationally.
