Carlos Duque holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College. Originally trained as a securities litigator, Carlos serves as strategic business counsel for a variety of high growth companies looking to tap the capital markets across a broad array of industries. He has served as general counsel for a multinational corporation conducting business in Shanghai China, as well as the U.S. and Europe. He is well versed in corporate M&A, bankruptcy, commercial contracts, securities and commercial litigation as well as corporate governance and tax. His area of practice are securities litigation, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, corporate formation and governance, international transactions, corporate restructuring, alternate dispute resolution, debtor/lender disputes, and business consulting.
