Scarlet Key Honor Society Nominations
It’s time to nominate rising seniors from the Class of 2026 for the Scarlet Key Honor Society. In addition, we are accepting nominations for Honorary Scarlet Key members that can include alumni, faculty, or staff.
Consideration for the Scarlet Key Honor Society is based on:
- Accomplishments in academics, athletics, student activities, or service that has enriched our community and/or brought recognition or honor to our university
- Individuals who have exhibited exceptional leadership among their peers
Please note that nominations must remain confidential and that students should not solicit nominations. Additionally, students may not submit nominations for themselves or others.

Inductees to the Scarlet Key Honor Society are those students who have exhibited exceptional leadership among their peers during their years at Boston University. Selection for Scarlet Key is based on excellence in university student activities and organizations, commitment, or involvement in the individual’s School or College.
Only Boston University faculty and administrators may nominate students. Students may not self-nominate. Nominations must be submitted online using this form.
