Jamie Engel (CAS’16, Wheelock’18)

Jamie Engel is the Deputy Director of Courageous Colorado, a nonpartisan organization working to make Colorado’s democracy more inclusive, transparent, and responsive by empowering community members to lead systemic change.

A proud double Terrier, Jamie holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Education from BU. She also earned a Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she was an Education Entrepreneurship Fellow and a Pforzheimer Fellow. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and volunteering on political campaigns. Jamie lives in Denver with her husband, John, whom she met through BU Study Abroad in Madrid.
