Vassilis Zapantis (ENG’98)

Vassilis is an electrical engineer, an economist, a senior executive, and a serial entrepreneur. Engagements spanning from a NASA project during ENG senior project design at BU to CEO at ZAPANTIS GROUP, a half-a-century family-owned pioneering group of companies in energy – renewables in SE Europe, and from co-founding and leading PHOLOW UK LTD, a social networking application and KEFVAC LLC, services, real estate, and hospitality business to be at the same time a member of the Board of Directors at KTYP SA, Greece’s public authority for developing the country’s building infrastructures (schools, hospitals, courts of justice, correctional facilities, etc.), showcasing the broad capabilities a BU graduate can have.
Once a promising soccer player and a scientist and currently a student (pursuing an online part-time LLM in International Trade & Commercial Law), an active businessman, a recreational athlete, and a valued society member, Vassilis is questioning everything and keeps searching for ways to make this a better world for all.
