Questions conventional boundaries between translation and adaptation by analyzing historical translations alongside modern reinterpretations across multiple media. Students engage with Boccaccio as both translation scholars and practitioner-translators from any language. Effective Spring 2027, fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU Hub areas: Aesthetic Exploration, Historical Consciousness, Critical Thinking.
