Undergraduate Prerequisites: CASMA 122 or MA124, and CASPY 211; or consent of the instructor. - This course provides a quantitative introduction to regional and global climate processes. Topics include atmospheric and surface energy balances; large-scale atmospheric and oceanic dynamics; atmospheric boundary layers; the general circulation of the atmosphere and ocean; and climate feedbacks and forcings.
