The Sargent College Master of Science in Occupational Therapy ranks #2 in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report. Our range of programs and clinical placements promote the health, well-being, and quality of life of people with disabilities, and will prepare you for roles in traditional settings and newly emerging areas of need. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate daily with faculty who are leaders in their fields.
You can combine your interests in health care and physical activity in either of these rewarding fields. Our goal: promote the health of all people, prevent injury, and rehabilitate those with impairment or disease. Our interdisciplinary approach includes coursework in basic and applied sciences, real-world research opportunities, and custom-tailored clinical placements. You’ll learn from faculty members who are clinical specialists at the top of their professions.
The processes of communication are essential to virtually every human activity. By gaining in-depth knowledge of these fundamentals and their cognitive components, you can prepare for a career in speech-language pathology or audiology. Or, you can use your background in the communication processes and basic sciences to enter many related fields, from education to public health to law.
