Kaleb Batten

Kaleb is currently a graduate student at Boston University studying Performing Arts Administration with a certificate in Fundraising Management. He is a former Music Education graduate of Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana.

Kaleb is currently working as a Graduate Assistant at Metropolitan College, serving the Graduate Financial Assistance and Undergraduate Student Services departments. Previously, he has worked as a music teacher, nonprofit office manager, and camp services staff member. In addition, he has performed as a solo and group vocalist, most notably with the St. Joseph Valley Camerata based in Elkhart, Indiana.

Kaleb has worked mainly with students in a variety of settings and age ranges from elementary all the way through undergraduate students. His training in nonprofit fundraising from the Wesley Foundation at Central Michigan University influences his studies and work in fundraising at Boston University. He enjoys the opportunity to help students achieve their goals of advancing their education and experience through the university.

The Arts Administration program at Boston University provides so many hands-on experiences to learn from and engage with professionals in the arts and nonprofit fields. I am learning a lot about how to support the financial and artistic development of our arts organizations.
