WLL Research Fellow, Dr. Sayed Hassan Hussaini, Invited to ECOTHEE 2017
Dr. Sayed Hassan Hussaini (Akhlaq), WLL Research Fellow, was invited to the 5th International Conference on Ecological Theology and Environmental Ethics, ECOTHEE 2017, at the Orthodox Academy of Crete in Greece from October 23rd to 27th, 2017.
This international conference was organized by the World Council of Churches and Orthodox Academic of Crete to engage theology on key ecological concerns from a variety of religious traditions and scientific perspectives within multi-disciplinary exchanges with a focus on care for the Earth and climate justice. Dr. Akhlaq’s paper, titled “Christians-Muslims’ Cooperation to Demonstrate God’s Image/ Caliph for Eco-Theology”, was received warmly.
