Spend two transformative weeks in Vichy, France in January 2026! Boston University undergraduate and graduate students who have an interest in French language and culture and who will have completed at least one semester of study in a degree program by January 2026 are invited to apply to the Global Language & Culture in Vichy program. Through this immersive experience, you’ll:

  • Receive intensive French language instruction
  • Explore French culture and daily life
  • Analyze the French education system
  • Reflect on your experience as a non-native speaker

The Global Language & Culture in Vichy program is a collaboration between Boston University and CAVILAM–Alliance Française, an internationally recognized language institute. Students who successfully complete this program will receive the Certificat de capacité à l’enseignement du français, awarded by CAVILAM–Alliance Française and the University of Clermont Auvergne. This certificate is recognized in France and valued internationally.
