Transfer Students

We are thrilled to have you join our vibrant and diverse community! As a transfer student, you’re bringing unique experiences and perspectives that will enrich our campus. Adjusting to a new university can be both exciting and overwhelming, but BU offers countless resources and support services to help you transition smoothly. We are here to support you every step of the way. Welcome to Terrier Nation!

Please keep the following in mind:

• Orientation is required for all new undergraduate transfer students.
• Registration for Fall Orientation will go live May 1, 2026.
• Students must participate in all Orientation activities.
• For students living on campus, you will be able to move into your on-campus housing assignment on Monday, August 24, 2026 or Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Check out the housing website for information on how to select a move-in time slot.
• Late arrivals and early dismissals do not give you the opportunity to experience the full program. If you think you may miss part of Orientation, please reach out to us directly.
