The Desktop Computing service consists of a number of components available to the BU community. We can help you choose the right computer for your needs, be it a physical or virtual machine. Once purchased we can image the computer with BU licensed software such as the currently supported versions of Windows, Mac OS and Microsoft Office. We offer departments the KACE Asset Management system which can be used both to manage computer systems inventories and to keep those systems safe by patching Windows, Microsoft Office, and other software.

We also maintain the systems in a number of computer labs including those located at Mugar Library, Pardee Library, Perkins Library, Science and Engineering Library, Athletics, Sargent College, and the School of Theology.
