Reminder: New Animal Operations Software Coming in 2021
Dear BU ASC Researcher,
I am writing to let you know about changes that will be coming to BU’s Animal Science Center (ASC). We are in the process of implementing a new system that will impact many business processes.
Animal Operations (AOps) is a new software system that will increase transparency and efficiency in the BU ASC. You and your lab members will use the new system to request animals, transfers, and veterinary and husbandry services; arrange for animal imports and exports; reserve procedure space; and much more. The integrated, electronic system will allow us to transition away from many of our outdated paper workflows and provide real-time visibility into animal care requests and activity.
We’ll be sharing details in the coming months. Below is a link to sign up for email updates and upcoming training opportunities from the ASC so you and your team don’t miss a beat.
