Inspiration in the Desert, a chamber music concert of works by Max Stern

Boston University College of Fine Arts, Graduate School of Theology, and Boston University Hillel present a chamber music concert of works by Max Stern, distinguished composer and international prizes winning creator of “a rich genre of contemporary biblical compositions, blending East and West” – currently lecturing on his critically acclaimed two-volume, Bible & Music / Psalms & Music – “a unique achievement in the world’s spiritual library.” Performers include Boston University College of Fine Arts faculty, BU-Tanglewood Institute faculty, students, and friends from the New England Conservatory of Music: Szu Ning Tai (Taiwan), harp; Klaudia Szlachta, DMA (Poland), violin; Danby Cho, DMA (South Korea), clarinet; Hyun Ji Kwon, DMA (South Korea), cello; Hee Yeon Chi (South Korea), piano; Michael Avitabile (USA-NEC), flute; and Evan Allen (USA-NEC), piano.
