Veterans' Day Vigil

The vigil will take place on Friday, November 10th and for us begins at 07:00 AM with cadets and midshipmen representing the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps ROTC units on campus marching in pairs in front of the memorial at Marsh Plaza. The vigil ends with a closing ceremony at 12:30PM, where after an invocation, we’ll observe a moment of silence, taps will be sounded and Captain Tim Ready, USN (Ret), a veteran of the Marine Corps and Navy, will share his story. We’re expecting the closing ceremony to last approximately 30 minutes. Everyone is invited to attend the closing ceremony which will take place inside Marsh Chapel located at 735 Commonwealth Ave. The staff, cadets and midshipmen of the Boston University ROTC units are hoping for a larger community turn out this year.
