Foreign Affairs Open House: Virtual Graduate School Fair Online

ABOUT THE VIRTUAL FAIR Foreign Affairs Open House connects prospective students directly with representatives at top programs in international affairs, public policy, diplomacy, and political science–all from the comfort of your home, office, smartphone, or tablet. As a graduate school candidate, you have the ability to explore school program information and opportunities. Choose which schools you want to interact with and then engage in one-on-one text and video conversations directly with a representative at those institutions. You can share your background, experience, resume, and ask questions. Maximize your time in the event by getting in line to chat with more than one school at a time. This event is free to all attendees. Prior registration is required: https://www.foreignaffairs.com/events TIPS FOR THE EVENT Do your research. Log in before the event, research the participating schools in advance, prioritize the booths and prepare a quick introduction. Although online graduate fairs are more relaxed than in-person fairs, you still want to make a great first impression. Prepare for the fair and arrive with a positive attitude. Have your resume (or resumes) ready in advance to upload and share with recruiters. Also, check your social media sites before the event.
