First Year Students are encouraged to sign up for an Orientation session based on their school/college. You'll have the opportunity to hear from University leaders about the academics, cultures, and history of this place. You'll meet student leaders who have fallen in love with Boston University. But most importantly, you'll meet friends who share your interests and friends who don't. But each opportunity is a chance to make a connection and learn something about yourself and the fascinating world you're part of.
First Year Student sessions
Transfer Students receive a special program addressed to you and your experience. University leaders know you've attended college before and want to demonstrate how Boston University is different and values your growth and success. The schedule is similar to that for First Year Students, but don’t be fooled. We want you to meet the mentors and future friends that will make you feel like you've been here since Day One. You're a Terrier now and forever. We're so glad you've joined us.
Transfer Student sessions
MET International Students are also welcome to participate in the Orientation experience! Learn more about academic requirements during your time at the University, but also engage with other incoming students about transitioning into this vibrant community.
MET International sessions
Winter Orientation Students join us for an Orientation session that acknowledges your status as a first year, transfer, international, or domestic student. We pride ourselves on welcoming the best and brightest from around the world to contribute to our academic mission. Be ready to listen and ready to engage with others about who you are. We're eager to get to know you.
