Carlos Gomez (Roblyer Lab) graduated from Boston University in 2016 with B.S in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Nanotechnology. He was first introduced to neurophotonics during his senior capstone project where he worked on a miniature fluorescent microscope for awake animal studies with Professor Timothy Gardner’s group. After graduation, Carlos worked as a research assistant at the Martinos Center at MGH with Dr. Abbas Yaseen. He currently is working with Professor Darren Roblyer, from the Biomedical Engineering Department, to develop novel non-invasive optical techniques.
