MET International upholds Boston University’s long-standing commitment to international higher education and global engagement. Through strategic alliances with distinguished educational institutions worldwide, our partnerships demonstrate the College’s industry-leading academic models and offer access to the Boston University experience­ exclusively for students from our partner institutions abroad.
Working closely with each partner institution, the MET International team ensures that undergraduate and graduate students have an unforgettable, immersive study abroad experience in Boston, benefiting from the extensive resources of BU and the superb faculty of the College.

Undergraduate Semester

Undergraduates in MET International spend one or two semesters immersed in evening courses at BU’s Metropolitan College. Students study full-time, choosing three to five undergraduate courses each semester.

Graduate Certificates

Graduate students in MET International enroll in specialized certificate programs, concentrating in a specific field while satisfying the international study requirements of their home institutions. Certificate programs offer real-world, practical learning in an environment of diverse perspectives and academic experiences. Students are integrated into classes at MET, and study with the College’s distinguished faculty. They also benefit from guest lecturers from the professional community-successful leaders who share their unique insight on practical business concepts and strategies.

Advanced Graduate Certificate

Graduate students may participate in a 4-credit internship upon completion of an Administrative Sciences department graduate certificate, with permission from their home institution.

Bachelor’s-to-Master’s Partnership Degree Opportunities

Recent graduates of MET International partner institutions have the opportunity to pursue a Boston University master’s degree program in an abbreviated time frame upon successful completion of a bachelor’s degree.

Graduate Partnership Degree Opportunities

Current and recently graduated master’s-level students from MET International partner institutions have the opportunity to pursue a second master’s degree in an abbreviated time frame.
