Gregory Paul Van Buskirk (b. 1984) is a United Methodist lay theologian specializing in the thought and theology of John Wesley and Thomas Aquinas, contemporary Wesleyan theology and ethics, Methodist history and doctrine, comparative theology (Wesley-Aquinas) and ecumenical dialogue (Methodist-Catholic), practical and moral theology, and Western philosophy and virtue (Aristotelian-Thomistic). He currently resides in Reading, Massachusetts, with his wife Carol (a United Methodist deacon), daughter Eleanor, and dog Moose. Dr. Van Buskirk intends to reside in the greater Boston area through June 2019, when he and his family will likely relocate to North Carolina. He may continue to be reached through the School of Theology through 2020.
