Zachary Joachim

Zachary Joachim graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in philosophy and religious studies, and earned his M.A. in philosophy at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, where he was a graduate student assistant at the Center for Subjectivity Research.

Joachim is presently a Ph.D. candidate at the BU Department of Philosophy. His research interests include phenomenology, especially Husserl and Heidegger; transcendental philosophy, hermeneutics, especially Gadamer; epistemology, especially truth, reason, and the structure of knowledge; philosophy of mind and language, especially intentionality, concepts, meaning, and embodiment; and metaphysics.
