Daniel Defraia

Dan DeFraia is freelance journalist and American Studies PhD candidate at Boston University, where he’s writing a book on the relationship between the U.S. news media and intelligence agencies from WWII to the end of the Vietnam War. He has taught courses on investigative journalism, history, and international relations. Before coming to Boston, he was a Steiger Fellow at the Committee to Protect Journalists and worked in their journalist assistance program.
