Amy Wu is the current resident assistant at the Core House in BU’s South Campus residential area; this is her second year serving in the role. At the Core House, she is dedicated to creating an environment of both intellectual discourse and community. She was a 2018 recipient of the Devlin Award, and her essay “Virgin Mary: The Final Laura” appears in the 2020 issue of The Journal of the Core Curriculum. She is majoring in biology, with a specialization in the Cellular, Molecular, and Genetics track, and minoring in Statistics. Her independent research is a multidisciplinary blend of genetics, statistics, and computer science.
