Students #KeptCOM, Celebrate After Challenging Semester

Dozens of alumni, faculty and students shared messages of celebration Monday across social networks, saluting COM students who "kept calm and carried on" through a unique, challenging semester.
Using the hashtag #KeptCOM, they posted videos, photographs and notes through the day May 15 for a virtual event that brought together a community spread apart by the coronavirus pandemic.
"COM students: So proud of what you've achieved despite the many challenges this semester," wrote COM Dean Mariette DiChristina, in a post that echoed the sentiments of many. "Your creativity, passion, and determination are inspiring. Awesome!"

This semester, I've witnessed a lot of empathy from students, professors, and friends. While the term was filled with unexpected turns, I'm still so thankful for the support that I felt-- whether it was a text, email, or smile over Zoom--it made all the difference! #KeptCOM https://t.co/XzD1N26sou
