COM’s Sofi Marshall up for ACE Eddie Award

Sofi Marshall is one of three student finalists for a 2009 American Cinema Editors (ACE) Eddie Award. The winner will be announced Feb. 15 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The nominees in the student competition are as follows:

• Nicole Brik, Chapman University (Dodge College)
• Sofi Marshall, Boston University
• Junna Xiao, American Film Institute

Also,  Nerakhoon (The Betrayal), nominated for best documentary feature,

was co-produced by Chiemi Karasawa (COM '90).
