BUTV10 wins three top awards in regional competition
Honors


BUTV10 won three awards and an honorable mention in the 2019 The Boston / New England National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Student Awards for Excellence. "Midterm Mandate", the College of Communication's most ambitious election coverage to date took first prize in the Newscast category. The Live Event award went to BUTV10's coverage of Boston University men's basketball. "Offsides" won for Sports Program, and "Amber" took Honorable Mention in the Arts & Entertainment/Cultural Affairs category.
All told, 140+ students from all COM departments were involved in these winning programs. The student winners are invited to attend the 42nd Boston/New England Emmy® Awards Ceremony as the guests of the Boston/New England Board of Governors on June 15, 2019. See the full list of winners below:
