butv10 wins third Telly in three years
butv10, Boston University's student-run television station announced that it’s the recipient of a 2010 Telly Award. Inside Boston, the channel’s news magazine program, was selected as a winner in the 31st annual competition. This is the organization’s third Telly Award in consecutive years.
“I am proud of Inside Boston and butv10,” said Assistant Professor Christophor Cavalieri, butv10’s Faculty Advisor. “Three Telly awards in three years is a significant accomplishment, but what’s more impressive is that three different butv10 programs have earned the honor. I think this achievement accurately reflects the effort of the entire organization. The students are excited and they should be.”
“This award is a tremendous honor,” said Megan Peet ('10), Co-Executive Producer for the program. “We could not have done it without each member of our fantastic staff.” Co-Executive Producer, Daniela Guernica ('10) added, “The Inside Boston team has worked very hard throughout the season and to be recognized with a Telly is rewarding and motivating.”
