Situation

Audrey's Rescue Angels is a one-woman, local nonprofit that believes people can come together to help build a better pet community through the donation of time and money to raise awareness for animal welfare. During the spring 2014 semester, the account team was challenged with helping the client to increase awareness of the nonprofit to potential donors and passionate pet owners and lovers.

Solution

The team's strategy focused on developing and implementing a structured social media plan to increase followers and engagement on the company's social media plan to increase followers and engagement on the company's social media channels to help spread awareness of the local nonprofit and its events. The team also revamped the company website to ease the user experience of donors, supporters and fans. In addition, the team helped the client to promote and pitch her new book, Rescue Pets of Boston.

Results

Increased Twitter followers by 40 percent
Increased Facebook followers by 117 percent
Fully revamped the company website
Assisted in the execution of Audrey's Rescue Angels events
Secured an article placement for Rescue Pets of Boston
Conceptualized five book signings for Rescue Pets of Boston
Designed an original postcard for future use
Created and disseminated a sell sheet for Rescue Pets of Boston
