Jonathan Martin (he/him) is a Ph.D. candidate in political science. He is a U.S. Army veteran with over 21 years of service, including service in NATO and extended overseas tours in Germany, Estonia, Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In Spring 2026, Jonathan was awarded a summer mini-grant which will support fieldwork in Finland in September and October 2026 for his dissertation project examining state strategies in overlapping international organizations in the Arctic governance complex.
