ICPSR Announces Scholarship Competition and Dates for 2024 Summer Workshops
ICPSR at the University of Michigan has announced the dates and course rosters of their 2024 ICPSR Summer Program.
- First Session: Monday, June 10-Friday, July 5, 2024
- Second Session: Monday, July 8-Friday, August 2, 2024
The internationally renowned summer program features a broad curriculum ranging from introductory to advanced courses in a variety of methods and techniques like data visualization, Python, R and more. As in past years, the Summer 2024 program will include a comprehensive session on research methods as well shorter topical workshops. The specific course listings can be found here.
The ICPSR Summer Program offers more than $150,000 in student scholarships every year, to more than 50 students. Their goal is to remove financial barriers to participation and increase access to statistical methods training for students of all different backgrounds. They are committed to providing the next generation of researchers with the skills, knowledge, and connections they need to do innovative, impactful work. The BU Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GRS) also will provide a small number of competitive scholarships to help defray costs of graduate student participation.
